Welcome to Mrs. Pusey's math class. Here on this page, you will find
important information relating to what is going on in class: Objectives, key
concepts, homework assignments, and more. Please check in often for updates and
changes.
All 6th grade students have been assessed and placed in their FIT classes which will start on Monday, Aug. 22,2011. We will all be working on fractions and decimals with the ultimate goal of ordering numbers consisting of fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, improper fractions.
Week of 9/12/11
We are still adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions as review each day, but we must
move on. Decimals are being covered during FIT. In class, we are working on integers -adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Ask your child to explain how they do each of these mathematical operations. We are nearing the first benchmark at the beginning of Oct. Much work is yet to be done and I want to let all my parents know that their students are working hard to accomplish their goals.
